Summer time is time to 'pretty-up' the porch. If you have one. We don't. A porch doesn't really 'go,' with a Dutch Colonial, which our {nearly 40 year old} house style is.
But my husband make a front patio. And in the Summer time, we have some pretty furniture on it. Many of the neat houses around town, have little lamps on their porches, and they are lit at night. Making a very pretty little Summer tableau. :-) So, for the first time,
I put a little lamp on the little table on our front patio.
