So ~~ Why something different? Why abandoning my *beloved* everything is centered style of posting? Well, I read an awesome entry on "Blissfully Domestic" blog. It was posted by "Toblerone" and you can read it... Hmmm, that link just isn't working. Can't figure out why...
Maybe if I tell you that the Title of her post is 'The Ingredients for a Memorable Blog Post.' Posted on July 18. Posted on Blissfully Domestic... Sure hope this link works! ~~~~ It works but it takes you to an April entry! -moan- I do believe there is some trouble with the site {or with me!}. I'll leave the link I used, to get to at least, a current entry. And you can scroll back one, to July 18, 'The Ingredients for a Memorable Blog Post.'

I happen to agree with her points. But you many not. Please give your opinion of these blogging ideas, in Comments. Agree... Disagree... Whatever... Everyone has the right to their own opinion. It could be a fun discussion. :-)
• Use very small paragraphs. She feels people skim blogs. So if you give them a huge block of text to read, they'll skip over it. {And I say:: If we only had 5 Fav. Blogs to read every day, we could read deeeeeply. But face it, most of us have way too many blogs, we want to follow. I have to read pretty quickly, or I don't get to any! Long run-on no-paragraph blogs, make it very hard for me to read them.}
• Use bullet point or numbered lists. She says these are useful, because they're easy to read. {And I say:: It's worth a try, for stuff that can use a list type of format. I'll do it with saying what my pics are of, down below.}
• Write clearly. She says don't use multi-syllabic words or fancy jargon, etc. {And I say:: I don't use big words but I'm sometimes {often} guilty of being "too cutesy" with some words. Like my over-use of 'totally.' -looking very ashamed-}
• Get to your point immediately. She says very few successful blogs can ramble at the beginning and keep readership. {And I say:: I'm doooomed!!! I ramble all the time. My middle name is 'Ramble'. I should sign my name as 'Miss Mari-Ramble-Nanci'}
• Use Photos. She says there are scads of Net places, where one can get photos... Use them. {And I say:: I'm golden on this one!!! Have always grabbed pretty pics. Now using my own photos, too.}
