We had a lovely dinner at The Mouzon House. Champagne and yummmmmmy food. This was our first time there. I love this kind of ambiance of being in an old home, which still looks like an old home. It's only open from 5PM to 9Pm in the evenings, so they don't look to turn over tables. It's the European feel, of .... No rush, no rush, spend as much time as you like. Nice! In the high Racing and Tourist Season, it's probably not so relaxed. But it is now! :-)
This morning, the neighbor's roof has plenty of frost. But the sun is out and there is no snow about. Yet!
The 14 year old Granddaughter {with a cold and very tired} is here again, while parents work. She's better but still tired, and into the sometimes coughing stage. So it's just like when they were little ~ Me calling out; "Cover your mouth." And she replying; "I am."
Today will be laid-back. We are both in fine shape. No residual *problems* from Champagne and rich food. But...... It just seems wise to not push the tummy. ,-)Oh and last evening, I told him not to mention that it was our 49th Anniversary. And neither of us did, even when the waitress smiled and said; "It must be a celebration, with a bucket of Champagne." :-) But, we just smiled.
Then, when I went to the Lady's Room, he must have *told.* Because when she brought our dessert, she said; "This is compliments of the Chef, on such a nice Anniversary." And she also said, that we must come back next year and tell them, where we went for our 50th Anniversary. -harrumph- He really *told*! ,-) He took me to Paris for our 40th so I kid him, that he'd better have something planned for our 50th. ,-) And he must have *told all*! ,-)
We have fun, weighing the possibilities. Right now, Vienna sounds marvelous. If we can talk ourselves into international travel again... -sigh-
