Now I know, this picture below doesn't look like much. And it's not really pretty. It's just a shot, down our driveway, taken from inside the garage. And to the right, is the Front Door with all that ice/snow. {Remember, from the pics of my Easter Trail sign on the Front Door?} Well, a lot of ice/snow is still left. And we are not using our Front Door yet. Sooooo.... This is the exit/entrance to our house,
in this late Winter time.

Look closely, please. See where there is still ice on the driveway? But see where there is not ice on the driveway! See that dark part? That my Dear Ladies is open driveway! Free of ice! Able to be walked on!

I can now walk from my house, to the road out front {no sidewalks on this street} and to other streets, some with sidewalks. In other words....
I AM FREEEEE AGAIN!
To take a little walk in the fresh air, without driving to someplace. Tomorrow I can take a walk around the corner and down the street and look at *my* Carriage House. Which is already in the process of being renovated.
What Carriage House? Not to worry. You will soon be regaled with news of the renovation of this adorable Carriage House, nearby. Which I just love. No, it will never be mine. But I think of it as *my* Carriage House. :-)
But all that is a tale for another day.

Right now, please rejoice with me! I am free from the bonds of Winter ice and can venture hither and yon, around home area, and walk and breathe fresh air and hear the song of birds again. {A bit dramatic I know but... it has been a long time since I could just walk out my door, you know.} :-)
