I love the rustic displays of apples.
Classes of small school children go to the Farm, to pick apples and watch Cider being made. 'The Mrs.' has some 'Thank You' notes, tacked up on the wall, in the barn. Pretty cute.
And I got to crunch Horse Chestnuts under foot, going into the barn. It's been a long time since I've done that!
Now for making a "Huguenot Torte" for family dinner dessert, on Sunday. {If this new-to-me recipe with apples, comes out well, I'll post the receipe and a picture of it} And of course, more Apples Pies have to be made.
