Well, not really. More like 'What the early teen Fashionista is wearing for Fall"
{A Fashionista ~ a devotee to clothing trends and fashion.} :-))))
The other day, I took my two oldest Grands shopping. The older of the two, is more a "Fashionista" than the 2 year younger one is. But finally, the younger is leaving her 'tom-boy' ways behind and actually likes to have clothing advice. {Please listen for the happy sigh of relief, from Nana!!!} :-))))
Now don't get the wrong impression. Both these girls get Honors and High Honors in their grades. Both play sports. In fact, the older one {the more Fashionista, of the two} plays all sports, even in the Summer. Summer sports camps and summer programs and even a summer basketball league. Hardly all fluff in their heads. So for me, this interest in what-to-wear is 'icing on the cake'!!!! :-) I'm the Nana who tried to keep them in hair bows and cute-simple dresses, for as long as she had any say in the matter. Although, with the tom-boy, I didn't have any say. -pout- Plus, she used to live at a distance, for those years.
It was fun and there's more to come. We weren't able to find the entire list of items, in one try. So we'll be hitting the stores again, soon.
Shorter trips and rest in between is better anyway, for my back issues. The main thing is, it's being fun for all involved. :-)
