Do you remember the next door cat 'Snowflake'?
Well, seems she has a new house mate. A little black cat...
We haven't yet been "formally introduced," so I don't know his/her name. But sh/he seems to be a typical little kitty. Just beginning to explore. And still, very wary. I had to turn out early morning lights and sneak up, behind the partially open drapes. :-)
And had to take this one, sort of sideways through screen. :-) With the flash illuminating dust on the screen. Mmmm, yes. The illuminated dust is on the screen. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! >,-)
This kitty is still skinny and small and will easily slip under that gate. But no matter how big, old, fat, fluffy, etc. any of the cats around here get... they all manage to flatten themselves down and slip under that gate. There seem to be just toooooo many "mahhhhhhhhhvelously"-interesting-to-cats things and noises and etc. in there, to not slip under and explore. ,-)
They sit for hours, watching for bugs to move about. And seeing birds fly around, never coming close enough for them to catch though. The birds, anyway. And now, before it's warm enough for the pool cover to be taken off, there are tiny pre-frogs I guess, swimming about in the water on the top of the pool cover. Which seem to be great fun to curl up and watch. Great cat fun, anyway. :-)
