I'm back. I hope....
Last evening's angst, over not being able to fix the HTML in my Blogger, to give the *pretty, pretty, pretty* effect I crave... Well, it's over. I'll still want to learn to do more with my Blogger here. I'll still do some searching into the 'how' of doing it. But I won't let the lack of this, take away from the fun I have, in all of "My Pretty Blog Land". {Ahhh the Wisdom of The Ages! -smile-}
Soooooooo,
Since my mood is much lighter this morning, I put in a *prettttttty* picture
and I go on my way.
Which takes me to a carriage house, down the way. Owned for many, many years by a reclusive couple. Who let it sort of 'go to rack and ruin.' But it's changed hands recently and there are hopeful sighs that it will be restored. Oh I'm so happpppy! Silly, because I've never even been in it. {as I said, they were very reclusive, which was their perfect right} But I've also grown to love this place.
It's like a fantasy place.
But it's right here, in viewing distance.
It almost has the look of a Fairy Tale Cottage.
So I try to envision the inside floor plan and etc.
Makes walking on my treadmill, a bit easier!
And when it's restored to its proper glory, I'll picture it. But for now, I'll just say how it's overgrown with an almost thicket of pine trees and much too high bushes. It must be very dark inside {which of course was their choice, although not mine}. And the outside looks a bit covered in spots with something 'icky.' -shudder- But, certain big pine trees are being removed!
Now I'm not one to applaud cutting down trees! No, no. But this is wonderfully necessary, to me. And happily, it is, to the new owners. And I've heard tell that they are going to re-do the inside. Which according to a neighbor who did 'get in,' is sooooooooo in need of work. I can almost hear the house sighing with relief. -smile-
Yes, I know. That's me, sighing with relief! -smile-
And to top it off, last evening, for the very first time, I saw the front carriage lights by the front door burning! Oh what a hopeful sign! No one in residence yet. So much work still to be done. But they had turned on the lights by the front door. Now how could I have remained 'put out' by my lack of computer savey,
when I witnessed this wonderful sight?!?
I couldn't!
-smile-
