'Comfortable in her own skin...'

Is only the young pearl/girl beautiful?

Can an older woman {the black pearl} be beautiful in her own way?

It's been written that the secret of a woman who continues to be 'comfortable in her own skin,' is that she has come to terms with enjoying each phase of her life and adjusting to life's different seasons.

Can this be done? Can 'Women Of A Certain Age' learn to come to terms with a new/different season in their lives? Can they graciously accept the changes, which aging brings? If so, how early do they have to begin to do so? In their 30's? 40's? 50's?

Eventually, there is no ignoring changes. When is best, to try to learn how to come to terms with this inevitability?

Or.... Do we have to come to terms with it, at all? Is it just something which happens, and there is no need for any preparation?

All these questions are very personal in nature. But for the sake of discussion, would you care to share your views, on them?
